Terms of Service

TempoFix is owned and operated by InfiniteWebWorks Inc. (infinitewebworks.com). By downloading, installing, or using TempoFix ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of the App, including users of free and premium features.

TempoFix is a music practice companion application available on iOS (iPhone and iPad) and Android (phones and tablets). It provides tools including a practice timer, reminders, metronome, chord and scale reference, guitar tuner, ear training exercises, and practice analytics. The App operates fully offline — no account or internet connection is required to use its core features. We may collect minimal anonymous, non-identifying usage data to understand feature engagement and improve the App. No personally identifiable information is ever collected. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit or make available to any third party the App or its content.

TempoFix is free to download and use — core practice tools are available at no cost. Advanced features require an active TempoFix Premium subscription. The following subscription options are available:

• TempoFix Premium Monthly — USD $4.99 per month (price varies by country; the applicable price is displayed in your local currency at time of purchase in the App Store or Google Play). Subscription period: 1 month, automatically renewing each month.
• TempoFix Premium Annual — USD $44.99 per year (price varies by country; the applicable price is displayed in your local currency at time of purchase in the App Store or Google Play). Subscription period: 12 months, automatically renewing each year.
• Premium features included in both plans: advanced metronome time signatures (5/4, 7/8, 6/8), extended chord voicings and deep scale library, all ear training modes (including dictation and perfect pitch training), full practice analytics with heatmaps and per-instrument breakdowns, and premium achievement badges.

Free core features remain available indefinitely at no cost, regardless of your subscription status. Premium content is accessible for the duration of each active paid subscription period.

TempoFix Premium is an auto-renewable subscription. Payment is charged to your App Store or Google Play account at confirmation of purchase and automatically renews at the end of each subscription period unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the period ends.

• To cancel on iOS/iPadOS: go to Settings → [your name] → Subscriptions → TempoFix Premium.
• To cancel on Android: open Google Play → tap your profile → Payments & subscriptions → Subscriptions → TempoFix → Cancel subscription.
• Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current paid period. Premium access continues until that date.

If subscription prices are adjusted, you will be notified before any change takes effect. Continued use of the subscription after the change date constitutes acceptance of the new price.

Refund requests are handled according to Apple's or Google's refund policies. We do not process refunds directly — please contact Apple Support or Google Play Support for purchase-related issues.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App
• Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary rights notices in the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to circumvent or bypass Premium feature restrictions without a valid purchase

The App and all its content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to text, graphics, icons, audio samples, and software — are owned by TempoFix and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the TempoFix name, logo, or other trademarks without our prior written consent.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TempoFix and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Premium upgrade, if any.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available at this URL. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice. By continuing to use the App after revised Terms become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TempoFix is registered.

TempoFix gratefully acknowledges the following open-source contributors whose work is used within the app:

AVL Sounds — Some audio samples used in the app are sourced from the AVL Sounds open-source library. These samples are used in accordance with their respective Creative Commons license terms. We thank the AVL project for making quality sound samples freely available to developers.

All third-party software and assets are used in compliance with their respective licenses. Inclusion of any third-party component does not imply endorsement.
