Terms of Service

By downloading, installing, or using TempoFix ("the App"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree to these Terms, do not use the App. These Terms apply to all users of the App, including users of free and premium features.

TempoFix is a music practice companion application available on iOS and Android. It provides tools including a practice timer, reminders, metronome, chord and scale reference, guitar tuner, ear training exercises, and practice analytics. The App operates fully offline — no account or internet connection is required to use its core features. We may collect minimal anonymous, non-identifying usage data to understand feature engagement and improve the App. No personally identifiable information is ever collected. Subject to your compliance with these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to download and use the App on devices you own or control, solely for your personal, non-commercial purposes.

You may not sublicense, sell, resell, transfer, assign, or otherwise commercially exploit or make available to any third party the App or its content.

TempoFix is free to download and use. Certain advanced features ("Premium") are available via a one-time in-app purchase. Premium features include but are not limited to:

• Advanced metronome time signatures (5/4, 7/8, 6/8)
• Extended chord voicings and deep scale library
• All ear training modes including dictation and perfect pitch training
• Full analytics including heatmaps and per-instrument breakdowns
• Premium achievement badges

The Premium upgrade is a one-time purchase — not a subscription. Once purchased, Premium features are available on that account indefinitely with no recurring charges.

All in-app purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Google Play) on our behalf. Pricing is set in each respective store and may vary by region. Refund requests are handled according to Apple's or Google's refund policies. We do not process refunds directly — please contact Apple or Google Support for purchase-related issues.

You agree not to:

• Reverse engineer, decompile, disassemble, or attempt to extract the source code of the App
• Modify, adapt, translate, or create derivative works based on the App
• Remove, obscure, or alter any proprietary rights notices in the App
• Use the App for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any regulations
• Attempt to circumvent or bypass Premium feature restrictions without a valid purchase

The App and all its content, features, and functionality — including but not limited to text, graphics, icons, audio samples, and software — are owned by TempoFix and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws. Nothing in these Terms grants you any right to use the TempoFix name, logo, or other trademarks without our prior written consent.

The App is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, or non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App will be error-free, uninterrupted, or free of viruses or other harmful components. Your use of the App is at your sole risk.

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, TempoFix and its affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of — or inability to use — the App, even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or the App shall not exceed the amount you paid for the Premium upgrade, if any.

We reserve the right to terminate or suspend your access to the App at any time, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms or is harmful to other users, us, or third parties, or for any other reason at our sole discretion.

We may revise these Terms from time to time. The most current version will always be available at this URL. If a revision is material, we will make reasonable efforts to provide notice. By continuing to use the App after revised Terms become effective, you agree to be bound by the updated Terms.

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with applicable law, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising under these Terms shall be resolved in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which TempoFix is registered.
